Matthew and Jessica have a desire to be part of and give back to the community they love. They have not only contributed their time and financial resources, but also enjoy educating their clients on the many philanthropic ways to become involved. The Ritters have hosted a “Giving Thanks” party in appreciation for their customer support over the years. They have used the event as an opportunity to invite various non-profit organizations to present their mission, learn about volunteer opportunities, and financial needs. Here is a summary of those organizations that the Ritters have supported and continue to support:
Suncoast Humane Society
Mission: Because pets need people and people need pets, Suncoast Humane Society provides sheltering to the most vulnerable animals, affordable preventive services to the community, and ongoing support for pets and the people who love them.
Our Mission is then bonded to our Vision:
Vision: Because pets need people, and together we have a lot of work to do to create a world where all pets are loved, we help pets and people live happier, healthier lives filled with love.
Wildlife Center of Southwest Florida
Mission: To protect and preserve Southwest Florida’s native wildlife through educational outreach and to rescue and rehabilitate sick, injured, and orphaned wildlife and return them to their natural habitat when healed.
Heritage Park, Venice FL
Matthew and Jessica, as The Ritter Group, have also “adopted” Heritage Park in Historic Downtown Venice. This park is the popular tree lined boulevard park that leads to Venice Public Beach. They frequently walk this park with their dog Capri and enjoy the shaded paths lined by the sweeping banyan trees. They have organized community clean up events and as many as 20 volunteers have assisted in cleaning up the park with them.
